NJUPT Won First Prize in the National Finals of China Graduate Student Electronic Design Competition Again

  On August 7-10, the 19th China Graduate Student Electronic Design Competition National Final was held in Wuxi. The postgraduate team of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications won 2 first prizes (1 first prize in the technical competition and 1 first prize in the enterprise competition), 8 second prizes (4 second prizes in the technical competition, 2 second prizes in the enterprise competition and 2 second prizes in the business plan competition), 5 third prizes (5 third prizes in the technical competition), 2 best thesis prizes, and 2 teachers were awarded the title of “National Outstanding Instructor”. Two teachers were awarded the title of “National Excellent Instructor”, and NJUPT was awarded the “Excellent Organization Award”again.

  In 2024, 7,368 teams from more than 310 universities and research institutes were evaluated in the preliminary rounds of the eight sub-regions, and a total of 582 teams stood out to advance to the national finals. After the evaluation by experts, 116 first prizes, 165 second prizes and 175 third prizes for technical competition teams, 15 first prizes, 25 second prizes and 35 third prizes for business plan teams, 23 team awards for Huawei's 6G Specialized Competition and 98 special awards for enterprise propositions were selected; 33 awards were given for the best dissertation, 5 awards were given for the most commercial value, 5 awards were given for the best defense, and 1 award was given for the best roadshow.

  China Graduate Student Electronic Design Competition is an event co-sponsored by China Electronics Society, China Society for Academic Degrees and Postgraduate Education and China Association for Science and Technology Youth Science and Technology Center under the guidance of Department of Academic Degrees and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education, and one of the thematic events of China Graduate Student Innovation and Practice Competition Series. The competition is characterized by high gold content, wide range of disciplinary intersection, high comprehensive quality requirements, and closely surrounding industrial needs, aiming to build a high-value industry-education integration bridge connecting enterprises in the field of electronic information and universities, and effectively promote the cultivation of innovative talents in the field of electronic information in China.

  Graduate Student Electronic Design Competition is an important means to promote learning, teaching, research and innovation by competition, and an important way to help discipline construction and improve the cultivation of graduate students' practical and innovative ability. Our school has achieved good results in this event for many consecutive years, which is a reflection of the school actively exploring the reform of cultivating innovative talents of graduate students in information disciplines and continuously improving the innovation and practice ability of graduate students, and a good reflection of the school's focus on promoting the deep integration of industry, academia and research.
