In the midst of blooming gardenias and cicadas singing in the summer, the graduation song echoed, and the tassel ceremony was completed. On the afternoon of June 11th, NJUPT held the 2024 Graduate Commencement and Degree Conferral Ceremony in the Xianlin Campus Gymnasium. Certificates were awarded, degrees conferred, and graduates, faculty, and family members gathered to celebrate the successful completion of studies by the graduates, embarking on a new journey into the vast world.

　　In the first phase, the ceremony was attended by Party Secretary Guo Yufeng, President Ye Meilan, Professor Yan Xiaohong, Vice Party Secretary Jiang Guoping, Party Standing Committee Members and Vice Presidents Jiang Xiaoshun, Wang Youguo, Liu Qingshan, Xie Ping, and Zhou Liang. Also present were heads of relevant departments, faculty representatives, all graduating graduate students, and parent representatives. 　　With the playing of blessing videos from various colleges and heartfelt performances by graduate representatives, the wonderful university memories slowly replayed in the gymnasium, accompanied by applause and cheers. The commencement ceremony officially began with the solemn and majestic national anthem. 　　Graduate representative Ma Xiao from the School of Communication and Information Engineering reflected on his seven years of study at NJUPT. He delved into quantum communication research, diligently pursuing knowledge, strengthening his theoretical foundation, and enhancing practical skills. Determined to contribute to the nation's communication industry, he won the highest award in the 17th Challenge Cup special competition. He will remember the school motto Virtue, Perseverance, Truth, Practice, continuously striving for excellence and scaling new scientific heights.
