Recently, the results of the 2020 Mathematical Contest on Modeling and Interdisciplinary Contest on Modeling were published, and Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (NJUPT) won one Outstanding Winner and five Finalists.

The competition was well-organized by the Academic Affairs Office and the College of Science. Among the 101 teams from NJUPT that had submitted papers for the competition, 55 teams of them had their names on the list, including one Outstanding Winner, five Finalists, 14 Meritorious Winners, and two Honorable Mentions in 35 categories. This is the second time NJUPT has won the Outstanding Winner after winning it in 2017, and is the most Finalists since participating in the contest in 2004.
