報告人簡介：
Dr. Tian Xia received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 1994, the M.S. degree from the Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Nanjing, China, in 2000, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston, in 2003. He is now an associate professor with the School of Engineering at the University of Vermont. His research interests focus on radio frequency and microwave circuit design and test. He has extensive experiences on adaptive wireless transceiver circuit design and test, ultra-wide bandwidth (UWB) ground penetrating radar (GPR) design, 2-D and 3-D integrated circuit signal integrity modeling and characterization. He has published over 80 research articles in scientific journals and conferences. He holds seven U.S. patents with another one pending. He received three IBM Faculty Awards in 2005, 2006 and 2008 respectively, IEEE North Atlantic Test Workshop Best Paper award in 2005, IEEE International System on Chip Conference (SoCC) Best Paper Award in 2012. IEEE Green Mountain Section Leadership Award in 2011. He was the program chair of IEEE North Atlantic Test Workshop between 2011 and 2014. He is now the associate editor of the Journal of Circuits, Systems, and Computers (JCSC), and the associate editor of Journal of Electronic Test: Theory and Application (JETTA).
